Hugo Simon
Hugo Simon, banker, activist, agriculturalist, art collector and patron of the arts, was one of the leading cultural figures in Berlin under the Weimar Republic.

The Schweizerhaus Seelow
The Schweizerhaus Seelow, originally established as a roadside inn in 1854, was purchased by Hugo Simon in 1919 and transformed into an agricultural estate that brought together land and labour, art and culture, in a unique vision of social and environmental harmony.
